Surf

Whether you're an experienced surfer or a beginner looking to catch your first waves, we are surrounded by multiple surf spots serving all levels.
Depending on your skills and the conditions we will guide you to the most suitable spots.

Our Homespot: Madiha Surfpoint

We are proud to call Madiha our home surf spot - a place where the waves are powerful, the vibe is relaxed, the community is like family and the shore is covered in palm trees. The friendly locals make this spot special, there are always some out ripping and having fun. Respecting our local surf community is one of our core values. This is the wave of the people who grew up here and it will always be. We are very thankful how happy they are to welcome surfers from all over the world.

Madiha Right

Just a few steps away from our door - Madiha Right. This wave offers both, a longer more forgiving right and a shorter, bit steeper left. Depending on the swell this peak offers all kind of sections, perfect for carving and practicing maneuvers.

Madiha Left

A little bit down the reef - Madiha Left. This wave is known as a more powerful left-hand reef-break. It’s ideal for advanced surfers, as the waves can get quite fast and hollow. Check it out on a good day to find some tubes there.

There are plenty more surf spots close by, just talk to us - our team is happy to share their local knowledge with you. Here are just a few of them:

Mirissa Right

Mirissa right is one of the most famous spots in the area. With a beautiful right-hander breaking on a hill covered in palm trees it gives the perfect cenery for photo shootings. This mellow wave is perfect for intermediate surfers, but we recommend to go first time with an instructor to avoid any sea urchins.

Fishermens

Fishermens is a soft right-hander pointbreak on a reef further out from the shore in Weligama. But don´t worry, there are some very nice locals happy to take you out by boat. If you´re lucky you can score conditions like in a wave pool here. No better place to learn and improve.

SK-Town

This beach break near Matara offers waves for all levels, but mostly for beginner and intermediate. With various peaks along the shore you will find a less crowded wave over there.

Weligama Bay

Weligama is a very long beach with multiple peaks. The sand bottom makes this spot very popular for beginners, but also advances surfers can find their challenge and fun there.
